随着2019年接近尾声，我想分享一下今年最感人的时刻之一。9月，在我们举行的一次大型高级管理会议上，我听到了一些非常特殊的人的个人故事：例如一位来自叙利亚的难民，他描述了他如何在德国和我们一起找到工作和一个新的家。或者一个来自南非的前孤儿，他告诉我们被DHL的同事指导。现在他自己也是导师了。 成为一家公司的一员，让这样的故事成为可能，这可是一种多么大的荣幸！我们做的不仅仅是移动的东西——我们让事情运转起来。这些故事提醒我，我们公司的宗旨——"联系人，改善生活"——是正确的。 在德意志邮政DHL集团，各行各业的同事每天都在全力以赴，尤其是在旺季。他们克服了挑战，互相支持。他们只是非凡的人。 铭记这一切，我祝愿您和您的亲人节日快乐！

As 2019 comes to a close, I’d like to share what was for me one of the year’s most moving moments. In September, at one of our larger senior management meetings, I got to hear the personal stories of some very special people: Such as a refugee from Syria who described how he had found both employment and a new home with us in Germany. Or a former orphan from South Africa who told us about being mentored by a DHL colleague. Now he is a mentor himself. What a great privilege it is to be part of a Company that makes stories like these possible! We do much more than move things – we set things in motion. These stories remind me that our company’s purpose – “Connecting people, improving lives” – is the right one.At Deutsche Post DHL Group, colleagues from all walks of life give their best every day, especially now during peak season. They overcome challenges, they support each other. They’re simply exceptional people.With that in mind, I wish you and your loved ones Happy Holidays and a peaceful and prosperous New Year!
